What I Ate Wednesday – April 12, 2017

I’ve been at home with my family this week, so I was a bit spoiled. My meals were made for me – and I didn’t even have to do the dishes! We also had Easter a week early and had lots of leftovers which have been included in some of today’s meals. Enjoy!

For breakfast I had a hard-boiled egg which I always like to have with a little bit of salt. I had a peach yogurt from Aldi and my usual coffee with milk and sugar. Bonus – you can see me taking the picture in the reflection on the spoon!

Lunch was at a hibachi restaurant. I didn’t want to bring my big camera in, so I just took a picture with my phone – hence the lower quality. I had hibachi shrimp with fried rice, lo mein, and vegetables. I realize I also had leftover hibachi for lunch last week. I don’t go that often so it was just a coincidence!

Dinner was one of my favorites – bean dip! My mom makes it with refried beans, sour cream, and shredded cheese. We dip into it with pretzels and tortilla chips. We also had a vegetable plate with cucumbers, green peppers, carrots, and tomatoes.

For dessert, I had leftovers from Easter. This is Heaven in a Bowl (really that’s it’s name) and it’s made with brownies, peanut butter cups, pudding, peanut butter, and whipped cream. So yummy!
