Moscow Mule Recipe

Are you looking for a refreshing drink? Look no further than the Moscow mule! I love making these on warm days, and I also love the cute cups they come in. Here’s how to make your own version of this popular drink at home!

Here are all the ingredients you will need (chair and flowers optional, but a definite plus).

  • cup of ice
  • 1 ginger beer (these come in different flavors and I enjoy the raspberry ginger one)
  • 1/2 shot of vodka
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 1 or 2 slices of lime

I fill the cup about 3/4 of the way full of ice and then pour in a whole ginger beer. I’ll leave links to all these products at the end.

Next, I pour in the vodka. I’m not quite sure why this needs to be included, but all the recipes I’ve ever looked at had it in there, so I figured why not?! I added about half a shot, but I didn’t really measure it, just a guess and pour.

The lime juice comes next and again, I didn’t really measure it, but it was about a tablespoon. You can add more or less depending on how much you like the taste of lime. I’m not a huge fan, but this didn’t make the lime taste overwhelming.

For the finishing touch, I added a lime to the drink and as a decoration on the outside. Once I get towards the end of my drink, I like to squeeze one of these to add to the flavor.

Now all that’s left to do is enjoy your drink! Let me know if you make Moscow mules with a different variation, I’m always looking to try something new!
