5 Makeup Products I Keep Purchasing

I use a variety of makeup products. Pretty much everyday I do a full face of makeup, which when you think about it, is a lot of products. I like switching up products weekly so I’m not always doing the same look or running out of the same products. However, there are a few products that I use constantly. These are basics for me and I’ve repurchased them at least a few times. Here are the products I find myself purchasing over and over again.

1. BareMinerals BarePro Performance Wear Powder Foundation

This is the foundation that I wear every single day. Up until about a year ago, I was putting on liquid foundation as my everyday foundation. I just found it so time consuming, though, and a little much for an everyday look. So, I switched to this compact powder foundation and haven’t looked back since! It’s so easy and quick to apply with a brush and I can build up areas that need more coverage without it looking cakey. I have been using the shade “cashmere” but recently switched to “aspen” for my pale winter skin.

2. BareMinerals Multi-tasking Concealer

When I was looking into powder foundation to get, I decided to purchase the starting kit from BareMinerals. The kit included a primer, foundation, concealer, bronzer/blush, finishing powder, and a few brushes. Some of the products I never ended up repurchasing when I ran out, but the foundation and concealer have become must-haves for me. I’ll admit, I don’t have extreme darkness or bags under my eyes (I really like to sleep), but this concealer is always able to cover up anything and brighten underneath my eyes. I also use it on spots or redness on my face. I use the shade “bisque” and it works for me year-round.

3. ColourPop Brow Pencil

I have tried TONS of different brow products – pomades, powders, pencils, high-end, and drugstore. This is my overall favorite of everything! It’s inexpensive and comes in a large variety of shades. I love how tiny the point is, so it actually forces you to draw in brow hairs and not just cover your brow in product. It also has a little spoolie on the end to brush through your hairs. Right now, I am realizing that I’m running out so I’m totally going to ColourPop’s website and buying a few! I use the shade “dope taupe” and I found that it worked both when I had blonde hair and now with brown hair.

4. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

I know that mascara is not a product that people are picky about. As long as it’s black and makes my eyelashes look decent, then I’m good with it. However, I never wear fake lashes, but I always want my lashes to look like I’m wearing falsies. I know, I want the look without putting in the effort of wearing lashes. This mascara lengthens and volumizes my lashes and after I’ve put a few coats on, they could totally pass for false lashes. The brush is a curved rubber with little spikes for separating the lashes. Just try this mascara and let me know what you think!

5. Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

This is the best setting spray I’ve ever tried. It has a nice, even spray that doesn’t squirt you and mess up your makeup, and it definitely makes my makeup last longer. I find that it also helps blend my makeup together at the end and look more natural. It also helps when I’m sweating my butt off in the summer, so my makeup doesn’t smear all over. If you’re looking for a spray to prolong your makeup and make it look awesome, definitely check this stuff out!
