Since this is a “lifestyle” blog, I thought I would write an update on what’s been going on in my life. Nothing terribly exciting or big has happened, but it’s always nice to catch up on what people have been doing! So, without further ado, here’s my life update!
Myself
I’m now 26. I feel as though I’m starting to get to be the age where I forget how old I am – someone asked me tonight and I stupidly had to double check with my boyfriend. I’m not old, but my neck hurts for days when I sleep just a little bit off. Some of you can probably relate to this joy of getting older!
This is my fourth year teaching elementary school. I’ve taught kindergarten, second grade, and now third grade. Different grades come with different pros and cons. I thought third grade would be too old for me, but so far I’m loving it!
My Relationship
I’ve been dating Tylre now for almost 5 years. We’ve lived together for almost 3. He still throws his dirty laundry on the floor right in front of the hamper, but I love him anyway! We have been trying to do weekly date nights and usually this involves us going out for dinner. These usually occur on Friday’s and by then we are so tired we come right home from our date and fall asleep! We both enjoy this weekly routine, though!
My Dog
Mila is a black lab/chow mix. At least that’s what the people told us when we got her for free on Facebook! We’re really not convinced that’s what she is, but she’s a perfect little mutt anyway! She’ll turn 4 in March, but she’s still just as crazy and wild as a puppy! I’m obsessed with her, and so is Tylre, so she is definitely a spoiled dog. Here is my first blog post about her and an update I did a few months later.
Other Exciting Things
I’m back to blogging! I started in the beginning of October again, and I’ve consistently been writing 2 posts a week. I’m also working a lot more on promoting my blog posts and doing tons of research on ways to make my blog better. I’ve joined a few affiliate programs (like Amazon!) and I’m working on going back through my old posts and making them better.
